Hyatt Place Park City, 4377 N Highway N 224, Park City, UT 84098
You’ll definitely want to attend the packet pickup. Not only is it mandatory but it’s where you’ll have your custom race shirt made. These shirts have your bib number and last name on them and can be worn in place of the traditional runners bib. You will also receive a complimentary headshot.
You’re not required to wear your race shirt but you’ll notice most everyone does as they’re a premium Polartec fabric and extremely comfortble.
Day of Race / Start
The race itself will begin inside the Basin Recreation Field House (1388 Center Dr, Park City, UT 84098) and we’ll exit the large rolling doors on the East side right onto the trail. The Basin Recreation Field House will be accessible starting at 5:15 AM for all competitors and family and the race itself will begin inside the Field House at 6:00 AM.
Once you arrive you will need to pickup your timing chip which must be worn on your ankle. One of the many things that we love about this start location is that it’s inside, warm, dry, has bathrooms and plenty of space for everyone to get ready for the race. We will have a place to leave a bag (drop bag) for the finish line so feel free to dress as warmly as you like. Just bring a bag to place your items in and leave it with us. We’ll have it waiting at the finish line for you.
You must have your timing chip on you for the entire race. There are 20 checkpoints along the course and we will be broadcasting a live feed of your position during the race. This is also how we will establish the winners of the King and Queen Of The Mountain and our Men’s and Women’s Sprint champions.
***Failure to register a time at any of the checkpoints will result in disqualification so if you loose your timing chip during the race be sure to report it at the next aid station***

Family / Crew
One of the great things about this course is that’s it’s very accessible to family, friends and crew. If a family member would like to see you on as much of the course as possible we recommend having them head from the start of the race to the Glenwild aid station. From there they can take their time and make their way over to the Jeremy Ranch aid station. From the Jeremy Ranch aid station they can follow or meet you along the 3 mile dirt road section. Just don’t have them block traffic.
They can see you next at Mormon Flat aid station and then at the Big Mountain aid station. From there they can drive back to see you again at the Jeremy ranch aid station and then at the finish. There many restaurants for your family to choose from as well as grocery stores should you need anything.
We are excited to partner with Hyatt Place Park City and they have generously offered competitors a lodging rate of $135/night.
Not only is the Hyatt Place a great property for you and your family to stay at, but the owner is also an Ultra runner and is running Twisted Fork along with you!
The Hyatt Place has limited availability so please reserve by June 1st to guarantee that you get the discounted rate of $135. Reservations must be cancelled or modified at least 48 hours in advance. You may reserve your rooms by visiting the link below:
